AI that earns its keep.

Find the hours your business is losing.

Missed inquiries, slow quotes, follow-ups nobody owns. We map the workflow that’s costing you the most, price it in your own numbers, and hand you the one fix worth doing first.

A sample page from a ShireWorks AI Systems Audit report: three findings totalling eight hours a week leaking, and the recommended first fix.

6 · Where your week is going

  1. Quotes built by hand from the price book Prices re-keyed, line by line, from a workbook that already knows them.
    4.5 hrs/wk
  2. Sent quotes belong to nobody Five went cold in one fortnight. No owner, no follow-up date, no chase.
    2.0 hrs/wk
  3. After-hours callers reach voicemail Three inboxes, no single list. By morning, the job is someone else’s.
    1.5 hrs/wk
Leaking every week 8.0 hrs/wk

The first fixOne owner and one follow-up date on every quote.

Live in two weeks. Pays for this audit inside the first month — then keeps paying.

Note: figures are the owner’s own estimates, taken during the audit interview.

Who this is for

Two kinds of owners book this audit.

You want to use AI — somewhere.

You’ve seen what it can do. You don’t know what to use, where to start, or how to do it without breaking something that matters. That’s not a failing; there are a thousand tools and no straight answers. A diagnosis beats a guess.

You don’t care about AI. You want your evenings back.

Inquiries arrive in five places. Quotes go out late and nobody chases them. Nothing moves unless you push it. What you’re after isn’t AI — it’s a week that runs without you chasing it.

Either way, the starting point is the same: find out where the hours are going before anyone builds anything.

The fee, explained

Why the audit costs $999 — and why that’s the point.

Plenty of AI outfits will audit your business for free. Here’s the problem with free: a free auditor only gets paid if the audit ends with you buying something. The verdict is written before anyone looks at your workflow.

  • 01

Paid means independent. Our only product that day is the answer. Sometimes the answer is “don’t build anything yet” — and we can afford to say it.

  • 02

It’s actual work, not a sales call. A recorded interview, hours inside your real workflow, a written report priced in your own numbers — not a pitch with a price tag on it.

  • 03

It’s the cheap way to test us. A fixed price and a fixed scope — see exactly how we work before you ever consider spending build money.

  • 04

The honest comparison is your own hours. Five hours a week is 250+ hours a year back in the business. Weigh $999 against what those hours are worth to you — the fixed scope and standardized method are what keep the price low.

The pledge

I run the audit. I build the fix. I answer the phone afterwards.

I’m Mathew Bailey, and ShireWorks is me. The person who maps your workflow is the person who builds the fix and picks up the phone afterwards. No account managers, no handoffs.

Every system I recommend is one I run first — ShireWorks operates day-to-day on the same AI systems I build for clients. And because I’m early, the risk sits with me, not you: if the audit doesn’t find at least 5 hours a week I can give you back, you don’t pay — and the report is yours to keep either way.

Receipts

Proof we’re doing the work — not just talking about it.

Our first client engagements are in delivery now. Until their results are measured and signed off, here’s what’s verifiably real — no stock testimonials, ever.

  • In delivery

    A four-person electrical & air-conditioning contractor

A full quoting and materials workflow: the price book verified line by line against the current supplier list, quote logic tested against 40+ real job configurations, and the equipment supply chain reviewed across three manufacturers.

  • We run it

ShireWorks runs on its own systems

Capture, compile, reporting and client operations run day-to-day on the same AI systems we sell — every recommendation in an audit is something we’ve run ourselves first.

  • Measured next

    Case studies with signed numbers

As engagements complete, this section becomes case studies with client-approved figures. If a number appears here, the client signed off on it.

Request the audit

First, the diagnosis

You don’t need another AI tool. You need to know what to fix first.

Most owners we talk to aren’t short of AI ideas — they’re short of hours, and no tool fixes a workflow nobody has mapped.

Start here

One workflow, end to end: what leaks, what it costs, and the plan to fix it.

AI Systems Audit CAD $9991

One workflow that’s costing you real money. A recorded discovery call, a written report, and a sit-down walkthrough of what we found — and exactly what to do about it.

  • One clear recommendation — the change that pays for itself first
  • What the leak costs and what fixing it is worth — in your numbers, not industry averages

If the audit doesn’t identify at least 5 hours a week we can give you back, you don’t pay — and the report is yours to keep either way. You see the full terms, in plain writing, before you pay.

Request the audit

What it checks

A recommendation built on evidence, not a questionnaire.

The audit goes deep on one recurring workflow. It checks the real path, what it’s costing you, the people who own it, and the data it depends on.

01

The real workflow

Inputs, steps, people, output, delays, errors and the point where work gets stuck.

02

The measurable leak

Hours, internal cost, missed follow-up, rework or risk using numbers you can inspect.

03

Who owns it

A named person who runs the workflow, and data we actually saw — not assumed.

5–7 days

Booked to answered inside a week.

  1. Day0

    Light prep

You book, pay, and get a five-minute questionnaire. Send whatever already exists — forms, templates, the emails you keep rewriting. Don’t create anything new.

  2. Day1

    The discovery call

We map one recurring workflow as it actually happens — not as the paperwork says it should.

  3. Days2–4

    Analysis and written report

We organize the evidence, reject weak claims, and write the recommendation — checked by a person, not shipped by a model.

  4. Days5–7

    Review walkthrough

We sit down together and walk through the recommendation, the math, and the build plan — exactly what to do next.

The written report

Enough detail to act. Not a deck full of possibilities.

The report is designed to make one decision clearer — and to give you the numbers to act on it.

FAQ

The fine print, up front.

What is an AI Systems Audit?

A paid, focused look at one workflow that’s costing you real money and time. We map what actually happens, price the leak, and give you one clear recommendation with the math behind it — plus a scoped plan to build the fix.

Why is the audit paid when everyone else’s is free?

A free audit is a sales call — the person doing it only gets paid if you say yes at the end. Ours has to be worth the money on its own, and the guarantee holds us to it: if the audit doesn’t identify at least 5 hours a week we can give you back, you don’t pay.

Do I need to know which AI tool I want?

No. We start with how the work actually moves — who touches it, where it stalls, what needs your sign-off. Tools come after the problem is clear.

I’m not a tech person — is that a problem?

No. The audit is about how work moves through your business — inquiries, quotes, follow-up — not about technology. We speak plainly the whole way through.

What happens after the audit?

The report stands on its own. If the numbers support a Build, you get a separate fixed-scope proposal — its own price, agreed pass/fail criteria, your sign-off built in. Support and Optimization can follow after delivery.

Will you just tell me to hire you?

Sometimes the verdict is ‘don’t build anything yet’ — and we’d rather say so than sell you a system that won’t earn its keep.

What does the audit cost?

The standard price is CAD $999; US and UK clients are quoted in USD or GBP. The audit includes a recorded discovery call, a written report, and a sit-down walkthrough of what we found — all inside a 5–7 day delivery window.

Is this a whole-business AI strategy?

No. We go deep on one recurring workflow rather than skimming the whole business. If we spot other opportunities along the way, we note them — clearly marked as leads, not verified findings.

How does the guarantee work?

If the audit doesn’t identify at least 5 hours a week we can give you back, you don’t pay — and the report is yours to keep either way. The full terms are written in plain English in the audit agreement; you see them before you pay.
